I just fuckin read this post and I don't even know what the hell to say except.... damiiattohellfuckshitass!!

Yeah Jen that date does look very familiar!! Whats the odds that Social D, Tiger Army, & Nekromantix are all playing the same night but at two damn different venues??? Oh well I already got my Nekromantix tickets. Happy Birthday to me!!

Anywhoo I had come on the board to make a post about Street-Scene. I saw that they have moved Street-Scene to The Del Mar Fairgrounds. I am soo excited about this!! What a beautiful venue. I grew up in Del Mar and have spent many fantabulous nights at the fairgrounds. I highly recomend that any of you near by come on down!!

Do we have a rumored line up yet?? I am sure that 2007 Street-Scene will be a rockin night!!!

Yeah! I get to see Social D on Saturday! A friend of mine works for one of the sponsor companies so I just got tix! Now if I can figure out when they go on! Can the line up as listed above be right? And Tiger Army on first on the other stage?

If you read this Happy Birthday Britt! You have a cake by your name, cool!

Saw the show last night, here is there 40 minute festival setlist.

Reach For the Sky
Highway 101
Under My Thumb
Bad Luck
Far Behind
Prison Bound
Ball and Chain
Story of My Life
Ring of Fire

Mike seemed in good spirts but was his general cranky wise ass self. I can't remember exactly what he said before Far Behind, but the song is definately about one specific person and he is still pissed about it. Before Prison Bound he said we was watching tv, and his show was interrupted for coverage of the Paris Hilton trial. People started to boo with the mention of her name. He said "You should fucking boo! I don't care if they send the bitch away for 5 years!". Before Ring of Fire you could tell we wanted to go into the making love to yourself speach but there wasn't enough time. He said it was song written by a man's wife, and then went on about how if there wasn't any good black music, there wouldn't be any good white music. I know Johnny was the Man in Black, but ???? Pretty funny!

You're right no risk AT ALL! But, after hearing the other bands that day this sounded wonderful. I went to spend time with two friends, and it didn't hurt that we had free food and eventually all access passes. Still I wouldn't go to this type of show to see bands. This was more like going to a party and an added bonus of seeing Social D. To me Social D doesn't work in a stadium.

Yeah, Tiger Amry went on as soon as we got there, about 1:30. It was a loooong day.

Glad your birthday show was a good one!
